Important Deposit Insurance Notice

First Community Bank of Homer Glen & Lockport is participating in the FDIC’s Transaction Account Guarantee Program. Under that program, through December 31, 2010, all noninterest-bearing transaction accounts are fully guaranteed by the FDIC for the entire amount in the account.  The following NOW accounts will also be fully guaranteed under the program through December 31, 2010: Homer Interest Checking; Health Savings NOW account, and Lawyer’s Trust accounts. Our other NOW account(s) will not be guaranteed under the program, but they will continue to be insured under the FDIC’s general deposit insurance rules.  Our cashier's checks and money orders will also be fully guaranteed under the program through December 31, 2010.  Coverage under the Transaction Account Guarantee Program is in addition to and separate from the coverage available under the FDIC’s general deposit insurance rules.
