Michael T. Carbery, CFA
President

Expertise: More than 25 years experience in developing investment strategies for institutional clients, including public funds and health care organizations, endowments and foundations, and financial institutions and exchanges. Specific expertise in fixed income and alternative strategies for institutional and private clients.

Experience: Founding Bank Director of First Community Bank (Homer Glen and Lockport). Senior Vice President for Institutional Investment Management with Brown Brothers Harriman (Chicago, IL), the country’s oldest private bank. Previously, Senior Vice President with The Chicago Corporation. Earlier in Wall Street career, assisted community banks nationwide in the formulation and implementation of their investment strategies.

Community Service: Lockport native. Civic and Professional memberships
include: Rotary Club of Lockport, Lewis University Council of Regents, CFA Society of Chicago, Executives’ Club of Chicago, Bond Club of Chicago.

Education: BA degree in Economics from Yale University, cum laude with Distinction in the Major. Conferred the designation of Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA). Graduate of Joliet Catholic High School.


Michael Collins
Assistant Vice President

Expertise: Experience in structuring complex financial transactions in the commercial and industrial sectors. Experienced in meeting the needs of small and mid sized commercial businesses. Expertise includes funding origination, risk management, and financial analysis.

Experience: Began his career with First Midwest Bank in 2003 and has spent his entire career serving local business lending needs in Chicagoland’s south and west suburbs.

Community Service: A life long member of the Palos Park community. Active in various civic and charitable organizations.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Illinois.Master in Business Administration, emphasis in Financial Analysis from Keller Graduate School of Management.


Molly Chesna

Expertise: More than 9 years of community banking experience, working as a personal banker, loan administrator, and most recently, a credit analyst. Specializes in meeting the banking needs of small businesses, individuals, and families.

Experience: Personal Banker at New Lenox State Bank; became Senior Personal Banker upon its merger with Harris NA. Founding Banker of First Community Bank (Homer Glen), transitioned to the loan department as a Credit Analyst in 2009.

Community Service: Lifelong member of the Orland Park community; recently moved to Lemont. Participates in local charity events including the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life.

Education: BS in Actuarial Science, North Central College


John O'Brien

Expertise: Experience in structuring complex financial transactions, primarily in the commercial and industrial sectors. Expertise includes transaction origination, structuring, closing and funding of financial opportunities covering a variety of structuring parameters and investment risk.

Experience: Founding Officer of First Community Bank (Homer Glen). Twenty five years of financial service experience in the origination of commercial loans and leases. Most recently, VP in the MB Financial Bank Commercial Lending group, working with south surburban small to mid-size businesses.

Community Service: Active in various civic and school groups and organizations throughout the Lemont area. Fifteen year resident of Lemont.

Education: BS in Business Administration from Saint Joseph’s College


Jim Maloney

Expertise: Has over 25 years experience in the industry, working as a Controller, IT Manager and Director of Planning and Profitability.

Experience: Founding Officer of First Community Bank (Homer Glen). Served as the Controller for BankFinancial before moving into the role of IT Manager. After guiding BankFinancial through Y2K, was moved to head up Planning and Performance. Developed and implemented a Budget system for Mid America Bank.

Community Service: Lifelong resident of Joliet. Adjunct Instructor of Finance and Accounting at the University of St. Francis. Past Athletic Director and current coach for Holy family School. Served as President of Holy Family School Board for two years and member of the board for 6 years.

Education: MBA and BA from University of St. Francis.


DaleAnn Kania

Expertise: More than 18 years of community banking experience. Specializes in processing and maintaining commercial and consumer loans.

Experience: Loan Administrator with New Lenox State Bank which merged with Harris, N.A.

Community Service: 19 year resident of Homer Glen and has participated in local charity events including the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life.


Megan Kosek
Personal Banker

Expertise: More than five years of community banking experience in Homer Glen. Specializes in meeting the personal banking needs of individuals and families while providing professional and courteous service.

Experience: Receptionist and Teller with New Lenox State Bank; became Senior Teller and Customer Service Representative with Harris NA.

Community Service: Participates in local charity events including the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life.

Education: BA from Governors State University.


Diane Nowicki

Expertise: More than 39 years of community banking experience. Specializes in meeting the banking needs of clients with personal, friendly, and courteous service.

Experience: Assistant Vice President, Customer Service/Teller Supervisor, and Personal Banker at First Trust and Savings Bank Watseka/ Clifton, Illinois.

Community Service: New resident of Orland Park. Participated in the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life in Lemont.

Education: Community Bankers Association of Illinois School for Community Bankers.


Karen Nottoli
